Hello Bikini Season

5 ways to Transition from Spring into Summer

  1. KEEP UP YOUR EXERCISE ROUTINE – When it comes to preparing the body for summer, there are two alternatives. One is simply maintaining your year-round exercise routine. The other is to use this routine as your base and add something new for a bit of variety.

  2. TRY SOMETHING NEW- Good weather makes us feel more inspired, creative, and daring. It’s a good idea to track your progress when starting a new activity or challenge, so you are encouraged as you start to reach your goals.

  3. SUMMER DIET – During warmer days, our needs to stay hydrated naturally increases. Drinking plenty of water is important, so to make hydration more delicious even with flavored water. There are plenty of foods with a high-water content that can be easily included in our diet.

  4. CHANGE YOUR SLEEPING AND WAKING ROUTINE - More daylight may inspire you to stay up later or wake up earlier. Set a certain sleep and wake schedule that fits the new adjustments.

  5. GET OUTSIDE & GET MOVING - Speaking of wellness, there is really nothing better for your mental health than spending time outdoors. Now that the sun is out later in the day, you have an extra hour or so to spend outdoors that you did not have in the winter or early spring. Take advantage of that extra sunlight. Go for a hike in the woods or at a park or pack up the car and head to the beach for the day. It’s beautiful and enjoyable!

    As always continue to Breedlove.
